Moody Ranch Outfitters offers over 5,000+ acres of exciting and beautiful hunting property with rolling hills, flooded timber, and prairies in the Navasota River bottom.  Moody Ranch Outfitters is centrally located within an hour and a half from Houston, or 30 minutes from Bryan/College Station, Texas home of Texas A&M, or just a few hours from Dallas or Austin.

Located in Historic Grimes County, Moody Ranch Outfitters offers you the opportunity to hunt standing marshes in low water lying areas. These areas are prime locations for some of the best fowl hunting, deer and wild hog hunting around.  White tail deer are native and are easily found here on our low-fenced ranch. 

During season we often offer deer specials and or hog specials on our specials page. Corporate or bulk packages of 10 or 20 hunts may be purchased, depending on availability.  Hunt here at Moody Ranch and never have to take the time to fill a feeder or worry about buying or building a stand or all the other expenses and frustrations that come from other hunters on your lease that make your deer hunting a burden! 

If Upland Fowl is your game then come on over and check out our 600+ acre upland prairie where we hunt pen-raised Quail.   We take pride in that our hunts are so real that you would hardly notice that you are on a pen-raised hunt.  Good dogs and excellent guides make for a great hunt! 

If you are looking to get some extra practice we offer a 10-station Sporting Clay Range where you get 50 shots per round is available year-round!  Stations include fliers and rabbits!

On Site accommodations for guests of Moody Ranch Outfitters are centrally located and include the Moody Family Homestead and the restored school house that we refer to as the Lodge Complex. The 98+ year old ranch style home and 100 year-old school house are located on the Gibbons creek bottom and are completely restored and updated to include central heat and air. With plenty of space to unwind you will enjoy a large screened in porch with ceiling fans, 60 X 42 pavilion, or satellite television. But your favourite spot might be on the oversized front porch where you can sit and enjoy the end of the day watching the sunset on the Gibbons Creek Bottom. Connected to the house and the Lodge Complex by a covered walkway is an air conditioned Mess Hall where we prepare all meals for you in a relaxed country atmosphere.
