CONFIRMING YOUR UPCOMING HUNT

PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOUR HUNTING SAFETY AND OF YOUR FELLOW HUNTERS

WHEN HANDLING FIREARMS AT THE LODGE & RANCH.

• Please text the names of the guests in your group the day before your arrival so we can confirm waivers.

• All hunters need to come to Moody Ranch Outfitters' Lodge and need to be here no later than 4:45 am and check in at the wooden bar under the pavilion. (Gate will open at 4:30 am). Map link is below.

• Please park on the left side of circle drive in the guest parking area upon arrival.

• Your gate hunt does not include a meal but we will have coffee available before your departure.

• ALL GUESTS:  PLEASE TEXT YOUR NAME TO 936-825-2119 UPON ARRIVAL to begin check-in process.

• Hunters will need to have their hunting license with them while checking in upon arrival so they can fill out their transportation tags.

• GUIDES WILL BEGIN TO LEAVE LODGE AT 5:15 AM - PLEASE BE READY TO GO BY THIS TIME.  Please note groups may leave 10-20 minutes later times pending hunt location.  You will follow guide in your vehicle or with guide in buggy to hunt location after check-in depending on weather and location.

• All guests will need to have filled out their waiver online using the links below before arriving and will have to have proof of hunters safety and Texas Hunting License with you in the field.  Please get your hunting license purchased before filling out your waiver.

• Tips to Guides begin at $50 per gun and go up from there and should be paid directly to the guide.  Cleaning of birds is $2.50 a bird and is payable directly to the guide.  Tips and bird cleaning are not included in your gift certificate.  If you choose not to have your birds cleaned please let Michael know upon check in so that he can advise the guide as this is an optional service for gate hunters.

• We do not allow smoking or vaping while hunting, inside buildings and we ask that you kindly do not throw cigarette butts in the fire pit, on porches, or on lodge grounds.  We do have buckets under pavilion for your butts.

PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR WAIVERS BEFORE ARRIVING VIA THE LINK(S) ABOVE.  If you have a guest that is 17 years old or younger please click the Youth Waiver Link as well which must be filled out by parent or guardian.  All participants must be 12 or older to hunt.  We do not allow non hunting observers on hunts.   Please remember you must have a valid Texas Hunting License with you at all times while hunting.
