AGE REQUIREMENT

All participants must be 12 years or older except Gator & Thermal Hunts where the minimum age is 16.

BOOKING POLICY

Booking Terms: You have up to fifteen days before arrival to change your reservation without penalty–otherwise, you may be subject to a change fee.  We will strive to re-book based on availability.  We do not offer refunds!   If you cancel the hunt in less than 24 hours or do not show up on the day of your hunt/excursion you will lose the prepaid credit. Unused credit is only available until May 15, 2025, and can be applied towards other hunts and excursions based on availability.
MRO reserves the right to cancel any hunt for any reason.  You must call or text 936-825-2119 for all re-booking and cancellation requests.

DEER HUNT RULES

Note that drawing blood is considered a valid Harvest and you will be responsible for paying.  If you shoot an immature buck we will charge an additional fee.  Full Metal Jacket Ammo is not allowed on Game Hunts per state law.  Cleaning of deer is $100 or Caping is $200 for each one harvested.  Please note that we do not offer non-guided youth doe hunts.  All youth 17 and under must be with a MRO guide during hunt and that is an additional cost of $155 per day.   Please note that the necessary equipment for harvesting deer is not included with this hunt, so you will need to bring your own.

ALCOHOL POLICY

MRO does not supply alcohol.  You are welcome to BYOB. To ensure your safety and the safety of others, we do not allow alcohol to be consumed before your hunt and all alcoholic beverages must be left at the lodge while you are in the field.   You are welcome to drink responsibly at the lodge upon your return from the field.

NON-HUNTING OBSERVERS

We do not allow non-hunting observers to sit in the blinds for any kind of hunt.

DONATION POLICY

Due to overwhelming requests, we do not offer donations to organizations outside Grimes County, Texas.  We do offer hunts at discounted rates during certain times of the year.  If you want to learn more, please submit your information via Donation Link.  All other emails or requests using other website forms will be automatically deleted.
